Remove image background lifts the subject out of a photo and saves it on a transparent background as a PNG. The AI that finds the subject runs on your own device inside the browser, downloaded once and kept for next time, so the photo is never uploaded. Why your file never leaves your device

Most online tools upload your file to a server, work on it there, and keep a copy for a while. Thryve Photo does the work inside your browser instead, with code that runs on your own device, so there is no upload, no copy on a server and nothing to delete afterwards. Does it work on hair and fine edges?
It handles most portraits and products well. Very fine hair against a busy background is the hardest case for any on-device model.
Is the output transparent?
Yes. The result is a PNG with a transparent background, ready to place on any colour or image.
Is my photo uploaded to a server?
No. The photo is opened and processed inside your browser tab, on your own device, and the result is saved straight back to it. Thryve has no server that receives files.
